Knotweed - Comparison of chemical controls against physical removal
Traditional removal of knotwood usually involves removing soil to a depth of 3m and transported to a licensed waste landfill site. Ther is no gurantee knotwood will not return.
Treated knotwood with appropriate herbicides is 1/10 of the cost and you can see your knotwood die on your site. Date added: 22/08/2007

What happens if the weeds do not die after you have sprayed them?
Weeds take approx 15 days to die if you still have weeds visible from when we originally sprayed Taylor Total Weed Control will return to spray them again. Date added: 30/06/2007
If you spray the weeds in our car park how long will they take to die?
